Tesla Australia has announced new options for the Model Y, including new paints, wheel colors and covers, and updates to the vehicles’ infotainment system. Giga Shanghai’s Quicksilver paint is now available in Australia for an additional AUD$2,600. The available Model Y paint options include Pearl White Multi-coat, Deep Blue Metallic, Solid Black, Stealth Grey, Quicksilver, and Ultra Red.
The ultra-metallic silver color option and Midnight Cherry Red are popular choices. The Tesla Model Y Performance in Australia comes with 21” Überturbine wheels, with Giga Shanghai producing dark-colored Gemini wheels and the Fremont Factory producing light-colored Gemini wheels. Delivery estimates for the Model Y in Tesla Australia are set between April and June 2024 across all variants.
The base Model Y starts at AUD$63,900, the Long Range Dual Motor AWD variant costs AUD$72,900 before options, and the Model Y Performance in Australia starts at $82,900.
