Tesla Cybertruck to Get Cabin Overheat Protection in Next Update

It has been revealed that the Tesla Cybertruck is set to receive an update that will introduce Cabin Overheat Protection, according to a recent social media interaction. The over-the-air update will provide this useful feature for the all-electric pickup truck. While the Tesla Cybertruck has already been delivered to customers, it is yet to gain access to certain features such as Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (Supervised).

This has been a point of concern for some Tesla owners, who have expressed their anticipation for the release of these features specifically for the Cybertruck. The Cybertruck Lead Engineer hinted at the imminent release of Cabin Overheat Protection in a recent post, advising drivers to pay attention to the release notes of their software updates. The feature, as described in the electric vehicle maker’s Owner’s Manual, will prevent the cabin from becoming excessively hot in high-temperature conditions and can be activated through the infotainment system or the Tesla Mobile App.

Stay tuned for more updates on this development.
