Rivian has recently introduced a special trade-in promotion for its vehicles in honor of Earth Day. This includes a $5,000 discount for customers who trade in certain gas vehicles for a new R1T or R1S.
In an email sent to potential buyers, Rivian announced the “Electric Upgrade” offer, which not only provides the discount but also includes one year of complimentary charging on the Rivian Adventure Network (RAN). The company highlighted the significance of Earth Day in the email and emphasized their desire to facilitate the transition to more environmentally friendly, zero-emission vehicles.
The promotion, known as the Electric Upgrade Offer, promises a discount of up to $5,000 for those who trade in eligible gas-powered vehicles when purchasing a new R1.
