Rumored Tesla ‘Redwood’ Electric Vehicle Imagined in Fan Rendering for 2025 Release

The renders of the Redwood EV, referred to as a “Cyberhatch,” were provided by Tine Rusc. The hatch-equipped EV is imagined as a compact crossover, offering more space and cargo for owners if brought to market by Tesla. The design takes inspiration from the Cybertruck, which Elon Musk’s recent biography suggests could serve as a template for the vehicle. Tine expressed admiration for Elon Musk and drew inspiration from the brilliance of automotive and scientific minds of the past century.

Tesla has reportedly been studying affordable vehicles in recent years to identify areas where manufacturing could be simplified to achieve lower pricing. It’s rumored that the company dismantled a Honda Civic, a conventional and popular vehicle, to learn from its production process. This could potentially support Tesla’s plans for a Robotaxi fleet, which has been a long-term goal for the automaker.
