Tesla restarts free FSD transfers on new vehicle purchases

Tesla has recently reintroduced free transfers for its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system. This incentive was previously offered as a one-time deal but is now available again despite the passing of the quarter-ending deadline. The FSD transferability offer applies to all orders of the Model S, Model 3, Model X, or Model Y.

Before Tesla’s announcement of its intention to reveal the robotaxi in August, there were claims that the affordable mass-market vehicle would be built on the same platform as the forthcoming robotaxi. However, Elon Musk denied these claims, leading to various discussions and speculations. It’s interesting to see Tesla’s decision to reinstate the FSD transferability offer and the ongoing developments related to potential new vehicle models and the robotaxi.

This move could have implications for the adoption and use of FSD technology, as well as for the company’s overall strategy and product lineup.
