Swedish Transport Administration Advisor Approves Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD)

Rikard Fredriksson, a Senior Advisor from the Swedish Transport Administration, recently tested Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) on German roads and shared his experience on LinkedIn. According to Fredriksson, the Tesla Full Self-Driving demonstrated impressive smooth and natural driving on the German roads.

His experience suggests that once regulatory approval is obtained, the Full Self-Driving software could be released in multiple countries with relative ease. Currently, Tesla is still seeking regulatory approval to launch Tesla FSD (supervised) in other countries.

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, indicated that the company plans to release the system in markets where it receives approval from regulators, including China. Musk also mentioned that Tesla does not sell cars in specific countries and aims to accelerate its entry into these markets.

He also stated that the company plans to enhance the driving capabilities in specific countries through country-specific training, but believes that the car can drive quite well in most places.
