2024 Ford F-150 Lightning gets price reductions.

Ford has reportedly implemented a round of price cuts to several trims of the 2024 F-150 Lightning. The recent price adjustments were focused primarily on the all-electric pickup truck’s mid-level variants. Citing a bulletin that Ford reportedly sent to its dealer network, the F-150 Lightning’s price changes came into effect on April 5. With the price cuts in place, some variants of the F-150 Lightning saw adjustments of as much as $5,500.

The Ford F-150 Lightning XLT Standard Range saw a price reduction of $2,000 to $62,995, while the F-150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range saw an adjustment of $2,500 to $76,995. Most notably, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash Extended Range was given a substantial price reduction of $5,500 to $67,995. Prior to its recent price adjustment, the F-150 Lightning Flash Extended Range started at $73,495. When the Lightning Flash trim was launched in October 2023, it had a starting price of $69,995.

The Ford F-150 Lightning Flash trim is arguably one of the all-electric pickup truck’s most bang-for-the-buck options. Apart from its extended-range battery with a target EPA range of 320 miles and BlueCruise, the F-150 Lightning Flash is also equipped with a 15.5-inch touchscreen, a B&O sound system with HD radio and eight speakers, and a wireless charging pad, among other amenities. The F-150 Lightning is eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit in the US, provided that its MSRP is below $80,000. The recent round of price reductions thus makes the F-150 Lightning a lot more attractive to consumers, especially those who are looking to acquire the vehicle’s Lariat, Flash, XLT, and Pro trims.
