Tesla has recently introduced a new configuration for the Model Y in the United States. This updated version offers increased range and comes with a slightly higher price tag. The previous rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration provided 260 miles of range and was priced at $42,990, which is $2,000 less than the new version.
It is interesting to note that the long-range (LR) RWD option was launched alongside the base RWD option in other countries, whereas in the U.S., it has been released as a replacement for the previous configuration.
