Tesla China’s Vehicle Exports Continue as Q2 Approaches Midpoint

In a recent flyover of the Shanghai Southport Terminal, it was observed that Tesla China is accumulating a new fleet for export. The drone footage of the terminal, which was shared online by a dedicated Tesla China watcher, revealed a growing number of Teslas being gathered at the location. The watcher, who has been monitoring the progress of Tesla’s projects in the country since the early days of Giga Shanghai, noted that numerous trucks were transporting Teslas to the site’s holding areas. Additionally, the drone operator observed truck drivers rushing to obtain customs declaration paperwork for entry into the dock site.

Notably, a significant portion of the vehicles at the terminal were reengineered Tesla Model 3 units, with a large number of all-electric sedans painted in Stealth Gray. The location also saw the shipment of Model Y units, with some of them painted in Quicksilver, a new paint option introduced at Giga Shanghai. It’s worth mentioning that Giga Shanghai is Tesla’s largest factory by volume and serves as the company’s primary vehicle export hub. For news tips and inquiries, feel free to reach out to us.
