The new Tesla Model 3 Performance recently made its debut in China. This model is also available in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) as Giga Shanghai serves as Tesla’s main export hub.
The Performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants start at RMB 335,900 and boast a cruising range of 623 km based on the CLTC standard. Additionally, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 261 km/h.
The package for the new Model 3 Performance in China includes sports seats, 19-inch warp wheels, and Track Mode V3. Customers who order this model now can expect an estimated delivery date of Q3 2024.
The new Tesla Model 3 Performance has also been launched in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as in Australia and New Zealand. According to Tesla, the Performance variant includes bespoke chassis hardware to enhance stiffness and improve performance.
The 4th gen drive unit of the new Model 3 Performance delivers +22% continuous power, +32% peak power, and +16% peak torque.
