Price of Tesla Model Y rises in Germany and Norway

The price of the Tesla Model Y has increased in countries like Germany and Norway. In Germany, the price increases were observed across all three variants of the Model Y, with the base Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) version now starting at 44,990 euros, the mid-tier Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive (AWD) starting at 52,490 euros, and the Performance version starting at 58,490 euros.

Norway also saw a price increase for the Model Y, with the cost going up by approximately 20,000 NOK across the lineup. Prior to the price increase, the RWD version started at 389,990 NOK, the AWD at 474,990 NOK, and the Performance at 509,990 NOK.

It has been noted that other countries in Europe may also have experienced a price increase for the Model Y. The increases are believed to be linked to supply chain issues, partly stemming from Houthi attacks on freighters in the Red Sea.

However, the company has assured that the supply chain for Giga Berlin is now intact.
