Mercedes-Benz lanza la furgoneta eSprinter en EE. UU.

In a recent statement, Head of Mercedes-Benz’s Van Division, Mathias Geisen, expressed that the launch of the eSprinter reinforces their commitment to leading in electric vehicles and marks the beginning of their next phase in electrification strategy. He highlighted the vehicle’s versatility and flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Several reasons prompted Mercedes-Benz to introduce an electric van to the U.S. market, including sustainability, emission-free fleet operation, and early market entry.

They equipped the eSprinter with MBUX, providing drivers with a voice-control assistant by simply saying “Hey Mercedes.” This feature allows users to perform tasks such as requesting new routes or locating the nearest charging station. Additionally, the eSprinter is outfitted with intelligent safety and assistance systems, including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Attention Assist.
