Elon Musk just tweeted this morning, "Pack swap now operating in limited beta mode for SF to LA route. Can swap battery faster than visiting a gas station. Tesla blog out soon."

The first reviews from owners and test drivers are coming in. One driver said, "a real BEAST just under the ball of your foot. It is SCARY FAST... WICKED FAST. My buddy said the damned thing is going to give him nightmares. His wife and mine were both saying over lunch how they were just THROWN back in the seats and felt internal organs press where they should not."

By packaging the batteries under the floor, the designers have created one of the most spacious interiors imaginable, right down to a couple of optional rear-facing jump seats that pop out of the boot floor, turning this sleek saloon into a seven-seater. Then there’s how it drives..."
Great video by Tesla showing how they open a large new store.
